Bulgul Land and Sea Rangers

The Bulgul Land and Sea Rangers manage 36,000 hectares of land and sea country across the Delissavale/Wagait/Larrakia Land Trust.

The rangers undertake extensive weed control, fire management and beach patrol works. To manage weeds such as mimosa and olive hymenachne, the rangers utilise both chemical and biological solutions.

Other ranger activities include feral animal management, ghost net clearance, cultural support, environmental monitoring (soil, water and native species), sacred site protection and compliance.
