The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) has ceased the Groote Eylandt Dog Operations Unit (DOU) Evaluation. The Australian Government is working in partnership with the Northern Territory (NT) Government and Aboriginal Peak Organisations NT (APONT) to design an agreement that will facilitate a new approach to supporting remote NT communities, including investment in community safety.
