Applications are now open for wage subsidies under the 1,000 Jobs Package.

The 1,000 Jobs Package offers wage subsidies to employ Community Development Program (CDP) participants in new jobs across remote Australia.

Employers will be eligible to receive financial support of up to $56,000 (GST not applicable) over two years, including retention bonuses to help them hire new staff in ongoing positions.

Applications for the first 100 subsidies are now open on GrantConnect. Further information on the application process for the remaining 900 jobs will be made available shortly.
