Celebrate NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for Australians to come together to celebrate and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements.

This year’s theme is Heal Country! It recognises the connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to Country which can be spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cultural.

Each year, events are held nationwide to celebrate NAIDOC Week. This year, the National Indigenous Australians Agency has given $1.4 million to community groups around the country to hold NAIDOC Week events.

Many of this year’s events have changed so they can be held online or in a COVIDSafe way.

Find out how you can get involved on the NAIDOC website.
