Round two of the Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business has now opened.

Outcomes from the first round of the Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business were announced in July 2021.

One of the successful applicants in the first round, Chocolate on Purpose, used their grant to purchase equipment and boost product development for an Indigenous Chocolate Tasting experience on Wiradjuri Country. This experience is a fusion of the cultural and culinary, combining couverture chocolate with Australian native botanicals to create a unique Bush Food Chocolate.

This is a further opportunity for eligible businesses and community organisations, currently operating in the tourism sector or supply chain, to access assistance for the development of authentic and innovative Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visitor experiences.

Grants in this program are focused on enhancing supply chain capacity and capability and will be capped at $50,000 for eligible businesses and $100,000 for community organisations.

Applications close at 11:30pm (ACT Local Time) on Tuesday 12 July 2022.
