The APS Employee Census (the Census) is an annual survey which is used to collect confidential attitude and opinion information from APS employees on important issues in the workplace. In 2023, the Employee Census was conducted between 8 May and 9 June.
The Census is the key mechanism through which NIAA surveys staff on important issues such as: health and wellbeing; attendance; performance management; leadership; capability; and general impressions of the APS and NIAA as an employer.
The results of the Census helps NIAA to identify areas of strong performance, opportunities for further improvement and track how the agency is progressing on key organisational strategies, initiatives and workplace culture.
