Achievements over the last 12 months:

  • This project has been extended to enable the local partners, specifically the Djalkiripuyngu Aboriginal Corporation, further time to develop their strategy and mission before CSIRO complete the work of enabling a public representation of the partners economic interests and strategy.

Strong personal and research ties have been maintained since 2000 and the strength and quality of those ties continues to be of paramount importance to this partnership.

Partnership elements strengthened:

For operational reasons and to enable Djalkiripuyngu Aboriginal Corporation to focus on its core functions, the project is concentrating on outputs and outcomes at this stage rather than introducing new process elements into the partnership.
