Achievements over the last 12 months:
- Agreed to the Terms of Reference and Visions and Values of the Group
- Agreed to the procurement and design of a logo for the International Decade of Indigenous Languages
- Developed a national policy priorities paper for languages and released it on the First Languages Australia website
- Agreed the overarching framework, vision, themes, case studies, and key design elements for the National Action Plan for the International Decade (with this work continuing)
- Attended the global launch of the International Decade in Paris.

Clause 32C(vi) meets in 2023. The Terms of Reference outline that jointly agreed community priorities can be conveyed across all Commonwealth departments for consideration in funding and program decisions.
