Additional Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service sector funding for improved infrastructure (New)

Action description: 

The Commonwealth is accelerating efforts to close the gap in health and wellbeing outcomes through additional infrastructure investment in areas of large and growing First Nations populations. This will support improved access to culturally safe, inclusive, comprehensive health care services for First Nations people.

Investment includes construction of a Birthing on Country Centre of Excellence at Waminda, an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in Nowra, NSW. The Centre will support cultural safety during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
