An Australian Public Service-wide framework on Governance of Indigenous Data is being developed with non-APS/First Nations partners. The Framework aims to improve the accessibility, relevance, interpretability, and timeliness of government-held data for First Nations peoples. The Framework will also explore the practical intersection between Australian Government objectives and those of the Indigenous Data Sovereignty movement in Australia.
