Action description:

The Australian Government's Critical Minerals Strategy 2023-2030 sets out priorities across 6 focus areas, including First Nations engagement and benefit sharing. Success against this focus area includes genuine engagement and collaboration with First Nations communities that promotes benefit sharing and respects the land and water rights and interests of First Nations people and communities. The International Partnerships Grant Program and the Critical Minerals Development Program are examples of initiatives under the Critical Minerals Strategy which contain provisions ensuring the consideration of First nations engagement, employment and outcomes.
