Action description:
The Safe and Supported: the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2021-2031 (Safe and Supported) aims to reduce the rates of child abuse and neglect and its intergenerational impacts.
Safe and Supported will use a Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy which is being developed by the Australian Government and state and territory governments in partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership Group, and with the non-government sector (NGOs). The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MES places Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander at its centre and aligns with the priority reforms in the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.
