Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Development of resources that aim to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls with a disability, and improve service responses when violence occurs.

Action description: 

Frequently violence in First Nations communities happens alongside multiple, intersecting and layered forms of discrimination and disadvantage affecting safety, one of which maybe disability. The review and redevelopment of products and supports will ensure they are accessible for all Australians, including First Nations people.
