Ear and Hearing Health Partnership Committee (EPC)

Action description: 

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ear and Hearing Health Partnership Committee (EPC) was established in December 2021 for an initial period of three years to reform hearing programs to be more effective for First Nations people. This partnership between the Commonwealth, states and territories and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives in the hearing health sector aims to co-design changes to IAHP programs to transition ear health promotion, community engagement functions and training and workforce development coordination to community-controlled organisations.
