Early Childhood Care and Development Policy Partnership

Action description: 

In the October 2022 Budget, the Commonwealth Government committed $10.2 million over three years to establish the Early Childhood Care and Development Policy Partnership (the Partnership) with Coalition of Peaks partners, First Nations representatives and all Australian Governments. The Partnership will drive coordinated efforts to support policy reform in early childhood education and care, maternal and child health and child safety sectors and support reforms across early childhood systems. The Partnership is co-chaired by the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, SNAICC – National Voice for our Children, and the Commonwealth Department of Education.

Delivery timeframe: 
The Early Childhood Care and Development Policy Partnership was established in August 2022 with funding to 2024-25. The Partnership will be reviewed after its three year term.
