Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP)

Action description:

The HEPPP funds universities to support students from identified underrepresented backgrounds to access and succeed in higher education.
From 2021 the HEPPP is a component of the Indigenous Regional Low SES Attainment Fund (IRLSAF) and was expanded to support First Nations students and students from regional and remote areas alongside those from low SES backgrounds. Universities continue to use their HEPPP funds flexibly to deliver a range of strategies and activities to support students from the three equity cohorts in line with local needs. Expansion of the HEPPP to include First Nations students and students from regional and remote areas was implemented in 2021.
