Improve cultural safety across the healthy system - Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT)

Action description: 

The RHMT Program provides funding to universities to encourage the recruitment and retention of rural and remote health professionals. RHMT program funded universities are required to ensure that all health students are given appropriate cultural training prior to undertaking placements in First Nations communities and to report on the number of students undertaking this training prior to clinical placement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community settings.
