Increase uptake of Indigenous-specific health assessments and a national rollout of the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health’s Deadly Choices program

Action description: 

The 2023-24 Budget announced $11.5M over three years to promote uptake of health assessments. This includes:

- $3.5 million in 2023-24 to develop, in partnership with ACCHSs and mainstream health sectors, a national campaign to raise awareness of health assessments and expand the reach of the Deadly Choices initiative.

- $8 million over two years from 2024-25 for improved administration and coordination of health assessments and their linkages with allied health services.
