National Escaping Violence Payment (EVP) Trial

Action description: 

The Escaping Violence Payment (EVP) trial seeks to reduce the financial insecurity individuals face when leaving a violent intimate partner relationship by providing financial assistance to eligible individuals of up to $5,000, including cash/cash equivalents of up to $1,500 and the remaining funds in goods, services and supports, to establish a home free from violence. It is available to all eligible individuals regardless of gender or identity, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who are disproportionately affected by intimate partner violence.
