National Health Academy (Indigenous Allied Health Australia )

Action description: 

(indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) is funded for its Health Academy program. This program works with high school students from years 7-12, starting with health literacy, moving to leadership and career planning and transitioning into the Health Academy in Years 11 and 12. IAHA's Health Academies support participants to enter a school-based traineeship pathway, complete a Year 12 qualification, gain work experience and obtain a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. Health Academies currently operate in five locations Darwin, South East Queensland, Northern Rivers (New South Wales), Greater Western Sydney and the Australian Capital Territory.
