NBN upgrades

Action description: 

The government will invest $2.4 billion in upgrading an additional 1.5 million premises from Fibre to the Node (FTTN) to full fibre so that 90 per cent of fixed-line premises can receive services up to 1 gigabit per second. At least 660,000 of the premises upgraded will be in regional areas. The government has also provided a $480 million grant to NBN Co to upgrade NBN Fixed Wireless and Satellite services.
