New early learning teaching model - Early Learning Teaching Pilot (ELTP)

Action description: 

In 2021, the Commonwealth committed $1.9 million to trial the design, implementation and evaluation of a new early learning teaching model that strengthens literacy and numeracy learning through explicit instruction with a focus on the participation of First Nations children. Three services are participating in the ELTP - two in the Northern Territory and one in Victoria. Delivery of the pilot concluded at the end of the 2023 school year, with evaluation activities continuing throughout 2024.
