Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

NHMRC Community Water Planner

Action description:

Health outcomes are improved by the provision of safe drinking water supplies to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through an updated, fit-for-purpose Community Water Planner. The NHMRC Community Water Planner is intended to support small water supplies around Australia such as those in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities that are not serviced by larger water service providers. The tool was decommissioned by NHMRC in 2019 for IT security reasons and the need for a new tool or resources for co-design activities are currently being considered.
