Drawing from the findings of a Productivity Commission inquiry into the market for First Nations arts and crafts, the Commonwealth will work with First Nations to establish standalone legislation to protect First Nations peoples traditional knowledge and cultural expressions, as well as reviewing the operation of the Indigenous Art Code.
