Action description: 

Since the program's inception in 2015, and as of 31 December 2023, the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) has invested $256.72 million in 126 grants with a focus on First Nations health research. Of this amount, $98.51 million has been awarded through the MRFF's Indigenous Health Research Fund which has a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led research. Under the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Targeted Call for Research, four grants have been provided to research into nutrition in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
