Research, tools and strategies to boost Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages education. The development of support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language teachers and the teaching of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages to boost the long-term uptake of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages in Australian school classrooms, through
- research into best-practice implementation of the Framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages;
- development of resources to promote best-practice implementation of the Framework; and
- development of a culturally appropriate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language education workforce strategy.
