Square Kilometre Array (SKA) economic and social benefits for Wajarri Yamaji businesses and industry (Wajarri Yamaji apprenticeships or trainee positions)

Action description: 

The Project Agreement is funding positions and providing other benefits for Wajarri Yamaji people: up to two cadetships and up to two apprenticeships or trainee positions at any one time, for the 50-year life of the agreement; a community and school educational resource about radio astronomy, the SKA project, the culture and traditions of the Wajarri Yamaji; school visits to the SKA site once a year to encourage STEM participation; and funding for a Mentoring Officer to be appointed to provide educational mentoring to Wajarri Yamaji students, funded for 10 years.
