Time to Work Employment Service (TWES)

Action description: 

The Time to Work Employment Service (TWES) is a national, voluntary in-prison employment service that assists sentenced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to access the support they need to better prepare them to find employment and reintegrate into the community upon their release from prison. The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations undertook public consultation during 2023 on potential future employment supports for First Nations people who are or have been incarcerated.
