Action description:
The Women's Leadership and Development Program provides grants aimed at improving the economic security, employment, leadership and safety outcomes for women in Australia. This includes a range of projects working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. WLDP funding is also provided to the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women's Alliance (NATSIWA), as one of six National Women's Alliances. NATSIWA play a key role engaging with the community and working with government to elevate the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to inform policy development.
