An evaluation of the Custody Notifications Service will provide an evidence base to determine the effectiveness of the Custody Notifications Service and identify where there are gaps and opportunities for improvement. This evidence base will also will be of benefit to state and territory governments, service providers (Aboriginal and Torres Strait legal services), police services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in all jurisdictions.
