Supporting Healing for Families was announced in May 2021 as part of the first tranche of funding under the National Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Child Sexual Abuse. Supporting Healing for Families aims to co-design, deliver, and evaluate Indigenous-led, place-based, trauma-aware healing initiatives for First Nations victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and their families in up to five locations nationally.

The development of the M&E Plan, the first phase in the evaluation process, is being prepared in parallel with the development of the program’s healing service model.
