CATSI Amendment Bill exposure draft written submissions

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking feedback on the CATSI Amendment Bill exposure draft. Consultation closed at 9:00 am Monday, 9 August 2021.

Feedback is being sought on those parts of the draft legislation that stakeholders support as well as those parts where there are concerns regarding practical barriers to implementation. The NIAA is also interested in feedback on the clarity, readability and complexity of the draft legislation.

Below are the written submissions outlining feedback on the exposure draft where permission was provided to publish on the NIAA’s website. Stakeholders can also register for a virtual consultation session where they can provide their feedback on the Bill.
