The Minister for Indigenous Australians, the Hon Ken Wyatt AM, MP, has announced the membership of the Senior Advisory Group, which will lead the co-design process to develop local, regional and national elements of an Indigenous voice.

The Senior Advisory Group is made up of a majority Indigenous Australians, and includes leaders and experts from across the country who will draw on their skills and experience to guide the co-design process. The Group is co-chaired by Professor Tom Calma AO and Professor Dr Marcia Langton AM.

The Senior Advisory Group will advise the Minister on options for models that will ensure that Indigenous Australians are heard at all levels of government - local, state and federal.

The first meeting of the Senior Advisory Group will be held next Wednesday 13 November 2019.
