Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) Clause Research

This project will investigate: 

1. How Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) rights enact Indigenous data sovereignty. 
2. What good ICIP clauses in Commonwealth-wide procurement and grant administration would look like.

This project aims to embed ICIP in the Commonwealth policy landscape and foster a consistent and informed position for engaging in ICIP. This will address a gap in consistent information on good ICIP practice and support the implementation of appropriate clauses and guidance across Australian Public Service (APS) agencies.
