Grants now open to deliver remote employment services

Grants now open on the Remote Australia Employment Service

Interested organisations can apply for funding to deliver the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) when it starts.

The RAES will replace the Community Development Program (CDP) on 1 November 2025.

It will help job seekers in remote communities by providing them with the skills, training and mentoring they need to take up job opportunities.

Grants for the RAES will stay open until 2pm on Monday 28 July (AEST). Find out more and submit your application on GrantConnect

Your feedback mattered!

Draft Grant Opportunity Guidelines (GOGs) for the RAES were published for information and feedback between 27 March to 21 April 2025. What we heard helped shape the final design of the RAES grant opportunity. A report summarising the feedback and how it was implemented in the final RAES GOGs is now available.
