Restriction of entry to the Tiwi Islands
A further Restriction of Entry has been issued and will come into effect from 7pm on 26 March 2020 and will remain in place until further notice for the remote Indigenous communities on the Tiwi Islands:
Keeping remote communities safe from Coronavirus (COVID-19)
As Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads, Australian governments have decided to restrict the movement of people into remote communities. The restrictions will commence shorty and community members are encouraged to stay in their own community, as it is the safest place to be.

The National Co-Design Group, who will develop models for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voice, met for the first time in Canberra on Tuesday Wednesday, 26 February 2020.
