The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), in partnership with the Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly (MPRA), engaged Burns Aldis to give a brief outline of the background to the Murdi Paaki model for community-led governance. The resource presents a summary of the lessons learned in the course of the history of the model, based on the voice and opinions of the MPRA.

Third Year Evaluation of the Indigenous Procurement Policy

The final report of the independent, third-year evaluation of the Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP), completed by Deloitte Consulting, confirms the Indigenous Procurement Policy’s success in increasing the rate of government purchasing from Indigenous businesses. The evaluation also identifies opportunities to improve the policy and its implementation.

Family Violence Prevention Legal Services National Evaluation Report
13th November 2019
In 2017 Charles Darwin University was commissioned by NIAA (formerly the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet) to undertake an impact evaluation of the Family Violence Prevention Legal Service program, including whether program objectives and outcomes were being achieved and if providers were meeting the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims/survivors of family violence and sexual assault. This evaluation was completed in July 2019.
