Bunya Mountains Murri Rangers
Located in south-east Queensland, the Bunya Mountains hold immense cultural and environmental significance. The Bunya Mountains are home to a unique assemblage of plants, animals and ecosystems. They are home to more than 30 rare and threatened species.

The Toogimbie Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) covers 4,600 hectares. It includes former pasture lands and contrasting eucalypt-lined creeks, waterways and a floodplain. The IPA was dedicated by the Nari Nari people in 2004.
Boorabee and The Willows IPA
Boorabee and The Willows Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) is located in the Northern Tablelands regionof New South Wales (NSW). It was dedicated as an IPA in 2010. This IPA covers 2,900 hectares and is home to one of Australia's most iconic species the koala.
Arafura Swamp Rangers
Gurruwiling, the Arafura Swamp, is a Wetland of National Importance and the largest paperbark swamp in Australia.
Numbulwar Numburindi Amalahgayag Injung Rangers
The Numbulwar Rangers are based at Numbulwar on the Gulf of Carpentaria. They manage 330,000 hectares of land and sea country.
They have undertaken extensive land and sea management planning in conjunction with traditional owners.
Njanjma Rangers
The Njanjma Rangers work on around 150,000 hectares of land that borders Kakadu National Park, the Warddeken Indigenous Protected Area and Gunbalanya. The area includes the Greater Red Lily area and Minkinj Valley, which are part of the East Alligator catchment in West Arnhem Land.
Tarriwa Kurrukun IPA and Rangers
Tarriwa Kurrukun Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) is located north-west of Guyra on the New England Tablelands.It was dedicated as an IPA in 2009. It covers 930 hectares of wetlands and stringybark forest and is home to an amazing diversity of plants and animals.
Wattleridge IPA and Rangers
Wattleridge Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) is situated about 35 kilometres north-east of the New England township of Guyra. It was dedicated in 2001. This IPA covers 480 hectares of botanically diverse bushland growing on outcropping granite country.
Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area Rangers
The Willandra Lakes region in far south western New South Wales (NSW) is one of 15 World Heritage places included in the National Heritage List. It is home to the oldest ritual human burials in the world and contains a system of ancient lakes.
Mimal Rangers
The Mimal Rangers are based at Weemol, near Bulman. They manage over 600,000 hectares of rugged central Arnhem Land country.
Mardbalk Marine Rangers
The Mardbalk Marine Rangers are based at Warruwi on Goulburn Island and manage 440,000 hectares of land and sea country.
Laynhapuy IPA and Yirralka Rangers
Located in north-east Arnhem Land, the Laynhapuy area is home to Yolngu people. The Yolngu people continue to live on their lands, maintain their culture and use traditional knowledge to manage their country.
Marthakal IPA and Gumurr Marthakal Rangers
Based at Galiwin'ku on Elcho Island, the Marthakal Indigenous Protected Area was dedicated in 2016. The Gumurr Marthakal Rangers manage 323,048 hectares of coastal land, intertidal waters and island chains. They also manage around one million hectares of surrounding sea country.
